Though the current state of the economy fueled several jokes about Washington's 100 "slowest shrinking" companies, the mood at the Washington State Convention Center was one of pride in accomplishment as Jones Advertising and one hundred other companies were congratulated for their growth over the past three years.
"While other agencies are laying people off or even closing down, we're particularly pleased to see continued growth," said agency president Mark Jones. "Of course, we have our amazing clients to thank for that."
Coming in at number 35, this is the second time that Jones Advertising has found itself on the Puget Sound Business Journal's top 100 list. Jones was previously honored at number 19 and sees reason to look forward to being on the list again. "Smart advertisers see the value of keeping a strong message going when the economy is weak." Jones explained, "And as the economy recovers, we'll all get busier together."
